A. M. bird watch

Now that spring is TECHNICALLY "here" (it has been freezing at night & almost as cold during the day due to wind chill!) Nicki begins each day in her window side bed on the watch for BIRDS.  

Nicki has a cold

Nicki and her friends have had colds these last few days. It all began with a few sneezes and a slightly damp nose. Maybe it had something to do with her choice to hang out in the dresser drawer? Maybe Nicki got a little too caught up  soaking up the sun shine and forgot to leave the chilly windowsill once the sun had moved ? Most days were spent sleeping in various boxes and beds until everyone got better.

We had more snow today so we all stayed in. Ely slept, I did paper work & Nicki & Sandi lounged around. I love this photo because of all the surrounding COLOR! The yellow and orange flannel blanket came from my Grandma Claire's house.It's very toasty which is probably why Nicki likes it so much!
