Earth Hour 2009

Nicki & Sandi thought Earth Hour 2009 was great fun! Next year everyone is invited over to nap, eat and play with all of their cat toys. Be there or be square! 

Earth Hour 2009

Nicki & Sandi want to remind all their friends that this evening is Earth Hour-see here for more information. Sandi suggests everyone use this hour to get an extra nap in.  

A. M. bird watch

Now that spring is TECHNICALLY "here" (it has been freezing at night & almost as cold during the day due to wind chill!) Nicki begins each day in her window side bed on the watch for BIRDS.  

Not now.

Sandi decided she did not want to play today. So her bouncie ball sat there until she gave it a good swat onto the floor. I think she was trying to prove a point.  

Fetch

How to play fetch:

find a toy the cat  favors.

Toss it.

They pick it up and bring it back to you.

Or at least bring it to the same room as you are in.

Always praise your cat: we say"good girl" and pet their heads.

Repeat until cat tires and sits down for the count. 

(Sandi actually sits on her toy when she has had enough)

(Nicki "loses" her toy under something when she is done)

One cat's mantra

We are bored.

We are tired.

We are sleeping now.

We are ready to play.

We want food! 

We want that other food that tastes better!

Scratch me here. 

No! Not there! Here! 

No! No! Stop clipping my sharp nails!
